
Kari Randall, LPC, LMHC, RPT-S, Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant
Kari is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Virginia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. She is also a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and has extensive training in Internal Family Systems. Kari completed her BA in Psychology at D’Youville University. Kari graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 with her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also have a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
As a certified EMDR therapist, Kari has the skills and experience to provide outpatient therapy to individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Acute Stress Disorder, and Dissociative Disorders. She is passionate about working alongside people who have experienced early childhood trauma and/or recent event trauma. Kari is privileged to work with clients who have experienced religious/spiritual abuse. Kari believes in the healing power that can come from EMDR therapy and would be honored to walk with you on your path from surviving to thriving.
Kari has a strong desire to work with people who have been diagnosed with cancer, chronic pain, or autoimmune conditions. She has specialized training in Somatic EMDR, which is an evidenced-based practice used to treat chronic health conditions. She has both personal and professional experiences with women’s health issues. Kari provides support to women in rebuilding their self-esteem and femininity and embracing their body. She focuses on the relationship between the mind and body by providing a holistic approach to physical health, nutrition, sleep, and stress management.
Kari has experience working with adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She is trained in treating adults with mood disorders, anxiety, sleep issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other emotional disturbances. She employs techniques from internal family systems, EMDR, somatic therapy, and dialectic behavioral therapy. She has developed specialized skills to provide individualized treatment to people across the lifespan. Kari will work with you to develop a specific plan that will support you through your journey.

Rates and Insurance
Kari accepts United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and MVP. She accepts Excellus BCBS in NYS. Her fee is $150 per 55 minute session. Superbills can be provided for out of network reimbursement.
