
Gregory Duffy, LMHC
Gregory completed his undergraduate degree at St. John Fisher College. Following his undergraduate education, Gregory began working as research technician at the Mount Hope Family Center through the University of Rochester. Gregory attended UMass Boston and completed his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. In 2020, Gregory earned his license as a mental health counselor.
Gregory has experience working with individuals, couples, and families as an outpatient counselor. He previously worked at South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) Behavioral Healthcare as a primary therapist. He then transitioned to work with children, adolescents, and adults at Strattus Counseling in Dedham, Massachusetts. Gregory has multiple years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum focusing on coping, communicating, and understanding their experiences.
Gregory specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, and managing transitions. He combines cognitive behavioral approaches with person-centered support and encouragement to promote emotional safety and growth. Gregory believes in the importance of feeling understood and comfortable while engaging in the therapeutic relationship. He respects the role that individual values and motivation play into the counseling process and supports personalized needs and goals.
Gregory is available to work with children, adolescents, and adults. He is available for individual, couples, and family sessions at Power Play Therapy and Counseling and via HIPAA compliant telehealth provider.
Gregory is currently accepting new clients for in person at our Penfield Location
and telehealth sessions, with availability on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
Rates and Insurance:
Gregory is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Excellus BC/BS, and MVP. His private pay rate for individual therapy is $110.00 per 55 minute session. His private pay rate for family and couples counseling is $120.00 per 55 minute session.
