Danielle Wilson, LMHC

Danielle offers compassionate, client-centered therapy to individuals and families coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She is especially passionate about working with pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults. Danielle brings experience in treating a range of concerns, including personality disorders, impulse control disorders, thought disorders, and mood disorders. She also has specialized training in addressing ADHD, behavioral challenges, grief, and OCD.

With a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Trauma Studies from SUNY Oswego, Danielle brings a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to her work. She is experienced in utilizing evidence-based practices including Trauma-Focused and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Danielle offers a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to engage in meaningful self-exploration and healing.

Danielle has worked in both clinical and school-based settings, offering support through telehealth and in-person sessions. Her warm, nonjudgmental presence helps clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they work toward healing and personal growth. Whether addressing the impact of childhood trauma or helping clients build coping strategies for everyday challenges, Danielle tailors her approach to meet each person where they are.

Danielle is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Careolon Behavioral Health, Optum, and United Healthcare. Her private pay rate for individual therapy is $110. Family therapy rate is $120. Sliding Scale Options Available.
